There are a few scenarios when you would want an installation that could be completed as quickly as the next day. Of course, the most obvious reason is enthusiasm: You can’t wait to get your beautiful new floors.

Why the next day?
- Scheduling coordination. Once it’s done, that’s just one more thing you can scratch off the list and you can get on with your life.
- More efficient planning. You’re completely remodeling a room and very often the flooring needs to go in first before walls can be painted or papered, and the accessories placed.
- Fast damage control. Burst pipes don’t happen on your schedule. You might have guests arriving, clients coming into your home office, or a dinner party scheduled. You can’t do this if your house is a mess.
NOTE: As a provider, there will be times when we won’t recommend installation for the next day. One example is the installation of a hardwood floor. Acclimation is an important process that should not be avoided, as it helps the material adjust to weather conditions. The entire acclimation process can take three or more days.

- Subfloors need to be prepared properly: They must be clean, dry and smooth; if not, they need repair.
- You save money. Most manufacturers have a clause stating that if a floor isn’t installed to their exact specifications, the warranty will be voided. You’ll be responsible for damages, even if they aren’t caused by you.
- There are often baseboards, moldings, stair railings and windows to work around. Can you do that?
